Our history can be traced back as far as 1948, to one of the predecessors of the firm, namely Blanckenberg Wahl & Lange, which became Wahl Lange & Carr in 1951 and in 1965 joined with Kuhn &  Joubert, creating Lange Joubert Carr & Blaauw, which incorporated in 2000 and is today known as Lange Carr & Wessels Inc.

The firm has an illustrious history as one of the oldest and most prominent legal firms in the Upington region of the Northern Cape. The sons of two of the founding partners of the abovementioned Lange, Joubert, Carr & Blaauw are still with the firm, continuing the tradition of excellence establish by their fathers.

Today, Lange Carr & Wessels Inc. is a well-established Northern Cape law firm providing services to the ZF Mcgawu district and surrounding communities and as far as Springbok, Kuruman and Kimberley.
